Sept. 6 – I’ve just attended the semi-annual Credit Suisse Private Banking event in Beijing, held today at the Park Hyatt. Speaking were Giles B. Keating, head of research for the Private Banking and Asset Management division, and Dong Tao, well-known in China as the managing director and chief regional economist for Credit Suisse China.

Dong Tao, in his opening remarks, stated that in 17 years of dealing with the Chinese economy, this current period was the most uncertain about the mid-term outlook.
